Post US numbers are lower tier

We do receive a slew of other numbers from the US and Canada after the BOE and ECB announcements, but they are generally of lower tier for the near-term economic outlook. The usual initial jobless claims numbers will have diminished importance (522K E, 530 P) since we have the payroll number Friday (market expects -175K). The Q3 US productivity data are also of lower tier because they are to a significant extent a residual of already-known data; the productivity numbers generally reflect the already-known difference between GDP growth and employment growth. There are also a couple of lower-tier Canadian data points (September building permits and the October PMI), but like with the US calendar, Canada will be looking forward to Friday on the data front with the release of their own payroll number at 7.00AM NY Time.
